Did you know that the numbers to the left of the barcode actually mean something? Well it does..... It's the way you tell if a coupon can be/should be doubled or not. Sometimes a manufacturer's coupon will print with a “Do Not Double” on it.
Now, the very first number on the barcode starting on the left is the key. Coupons that do not double will start with a number "9" like the one above. If the barcode starts with a 5, it should be doubled automatically. Just a little note is that lots of blinkies start with the number 9 though.
